If you want to set the search bar as your browser homepage you should change some settings inside your browser. This is a pretty easy task and can be done very easily.
There are various popular browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc. For each of them, the process of setting up the Google homepage can be different. In this post, you can see how to do make Google my homepage on each of the mentioned browsers.
Google Chrome:
In the Chrome browser to make Google my homepage, you will need to click on the “menu” at the top right corner. Then click on “settings” to get the browser setting options.

On the settings, go to the “appearance” first enable the show homepage option. Then select the custom web address and type “www.google.com”.

Mozilla Firefox

Now click on “Home” from the left menu and open the homepage dropdown. Select custom address and type “www.google.com”. Once you did that Google will appear on your Mozilla homepage.

Microsoft Edge:
In the Microsoft Edge browser, to make Google your homepage you will need to follow pretty much similar steps to the previous browsers. First of all, click on the menu icon on the top right corner. And then select settings for appearing all the options.

Now scroll down and enable the “show home button” option. Then select the custom page from the homepage selection menu and type “www.google.com”

After setting the custom URL you will be able to see Google as your homepage on Microsoft Edge.
Safari:
Safari browser is especially for Mac users; however, you can test it with your windows pc as well. In the Safari browser, first, go to the gear icon and select the preference from the menu. You can also use “ctrl+,” shortcut to directly access the preference settings.

Now on the popup window, find the homepage setting and replace the previous URL with www.google.com and set as current.

Once you did that, Google will appear as a homepage on your safari browser.
